What you actually do here
You do not need prior regiment experience. We give new members a clear place to start and enough structure to make progression mean something.
Join a Formation
Serve inside a battalion or company with its own leadership, identity and smaller Trupp structure.
Carry the Colours
Qualify for Flaggenwache and colour-bearing duties that matter both ceremonially and in the field.
Progress
Build service through attendance, merits, qualifications, responsibility and leadership opportunities.
Study at Magdeburg
Use Magdeburg University for optional learning, practical knowledge and qualifications throughout your career.
Build the Regiment
Move into recruiting, administration, artistic work, scheduling, colours, line command or senior staff if that interests you.

Formation assignment is handled by the regiment, but every branch carries a distinct visual identity and place within Nr. 26.
I. BATAILLON
Musketier
The main line-infantry formation and home of the regiment’s Ausländer identity.
Drill, formation discipline and a strong Trupp structure make this the broadest route into ordinary regimental service.
III. BATAILLON
Füsilier
A distinct battalion identity within the regiment with its own navy heraldry and formation culture.
Füsilier service remains part of the line regiment while preserving a recognizable battalion identity of its own.
KOMPANIE
Grenadier
A maroon-clad identity centered on the regiment’s Grenadier tradition and specialist progression.
Members serving here progress through the Grenadier specialist rank and participate in the company’s own distinctions and culture.
KOMPANIE
Jäger
A forest-green identity built around the Jäger specialist track and its own company traditions.
The Jäger path provides a distinctive specialist identity while remaining integrated into Nr. 26’s overall progression system.

You should never have to wonder what happens after you join.
The enlistment path is meant to get somebody from “interested” to their first real event quickly—not leave them sitting in a Discord server waiting for instructions.
